    the end of “war is over” sounds like jacob marley is around the corner. is that what you were going for? because ‘a christmas carol’ is the best christmas story ever written (i’m serious–i could write you a ten page paper, excluding footnotes and bibliography, to justify this claim), and jacob marley is an amazing literary study. he and john lennon strangely work well together, if that’s what you were going for.
